St. Lucie Legends
The St. Lucie Legends was a U.S. baseball team and one of the eight original franchises that began play in the Senior Professional Baseball Association in 1989.
In the league's inaugural season, the team struggled to a final 20-51 record and did not make the playoffs.
The club's offense was led by Juan Beníquez with a .359 batting average and Willie Aikens hitting .363, with Aikens and George Foster both stroking 11 home runs each.
After their first season, the St. Lucie Legends ceased operations.
